Background

A number of Singapore Airlines’ competitors had started to bid on the company’s brand name terms which had resulted in a worrying 25% reduction in traffic to the site on these search terms.

Objective

To protect the brand against this competitive activity and stem leakage.

Our Approach

We employed our proprietary platform Mercury which alerted us when anyone was bidding on our brand terms through email and text alerts. Automated bid management was then put into effect to ensure premium position was maintained.

Results

Clicks were restored to their previous high levels within 24 hours from us implementing the new strategy.
