Background
Following substantial private equity investment, bathrooms.com had set ambitious plans to take on market leader bathstore.com as a pure play rival. A new domain name had been purchased and the website had undergone a radical overhaul. We were tasked with delivering a substantial increase in sales whilst driving down cost per acquisition.
Objective
To increase quality traffic to the revamped website and to maximise conversion and sales.
Our Approach
Using our proprietary Mercury platform we were able to build a highly complex paid search campaign that would maximise traffic and optimise spend. We also integrated the campaign with the bathrooms.com stock management system so that the advertising copy and schedule dynamically reflected stock availability, product information and pricing changes.
Results
Over the first three months of working with bathrooms.com we grew traffic by 25%, increased sales by an impressive 57% whilst reducing cost per click by 21% and driving down CPA by 32%.
